About Us

We are a multidisciplinary design studio based in the outskirts of the city of Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. We started in the summer of 2018 with a mission to address the issue of dwindling craft industry in Kashmir using creativity as our primary tool of intervention.

We intend to innovate the crafts sector through development of modern designs and techniques and finding new market opportunities. We ethically handcraft our products with sustainable and biodegradable materials and use fair trade practices with all the craftspeople we work with.

    Community seeds are used to harvest and cultivate the traditional willow wicker plant which is locally abundant.
